A Pox on Your House

Published February 25, 2012 by largemargeuk

A pox on your house for your thieving.
A pox on you house for your lies.
A pox on your house for your cruel, cold heart.
A pox on your house for each tear she cries.

A pox on your house for the way you exploited
her naive trust in the world, in sharing her pain.
A pox on your house for the way that you cheapened
her personal thoughts for your personal gain.

A pox on your house for the way that you mocked her
when she begged you to stop and make good your crime.
A pox on your house for your cold callous theft
not once, not twice – but four different times.

You have broken the heart of a kind, decent woman
who has done nothing but give love to all whom she meets.
You’ve degraded and cheapened our writer’s haven.
May the pox on your house be long-lived and complete.

A pox on your house, you theives and you mockers
A pox on your house for you will crumble and fall.
We do not want you here – go now, forever
never again come to darken our halls.

Hibbo Scores, We Riot!

Published February 10, 2012 by largemargeuk

We’re sitting in the cinema,
it’s cool and dark and quiet.
Yes, you can reach and hold my hand
but if Hibbo scores, we riot.

We’re strolling down a country lane,
a warm breeze whispers by it.
Why yes, you can reach and stroke my hair –
but if Hibbo scores, we riot.

We’re parked outside my flat, it’s late
our desire so strong we could sigh it.
Yes, surely you can kiss my lips-
but if Hibbo scores, we riot.

We’re sitting on the edge of my bed
I can tell you are dying to try it.
So slip your hand ‘neath my panties’ band –
but if Hibbo scores,
we riot!
